"We were traveling with a group of friends, (two other couples - six of us in total) and chartered a private sailing tour. We had an awesome time. The boat was comfortable, and great for the size of our group. Our captain Tim took us around Abel Tasman park and tailored our route and stops to our preferences, and he picked places we really loved. "Back December I did a full day sailing around the Able Tasman on a lovely catamaran. Jane on reception was lovely and welcoming and the service carried through the whole trip. The captain who im pretty sure was called Mark was very professional, friendly and made the day so much fun. He had lots of knowledge about the local Area and sailing. He even let me have a go at sailing showing me how to properly direct the boat. He was eagle eyed and pointed out all kinds of wildlife to us and this just enhanced the day!"

"We had a great time sailing along the coast of the Abel Tasman National Forest. It was a great small group experience....away from the crowds. We had a perfect day with Tim, our captain stopping to see seals and other attractions along the coast before stopping for a terrific picnic lunch. Definitely check it out...easy to take the bus from Nelson and the folks at Abel Tasman make certain that you are back in time to catch the bus back to Nelson. Terrific experience"
