Tasman Bay Loop Sailing Holiday Package

Board your catamaran in Nelson (choose from either Te Harinui or Joella) as you set off to enjoy a 6-day sailing holiday looping Tasman Bay.

Access many remote and special places, many of which are only accessible by boat.

Enjoy a night or two in Abel Tasman National Park waters with its golden sands, gentle bays and beaches, and coast land.

Next catch the breeze and set sail crossing the bay to Rangitoto ki te Tonga / D'Urville Island and the outer reaches of the Marlborough Sounds.  A rugged and remote place with steep cliff faces, winding natural waterways D’Urville Island is a truly unique and special place. Great fishing, diving, and snorkeling in this peaceful isolation. 

Sail onto Croisilles Harbour and finally returning to Nelson.

These tours are self-catered. Plan to bring along your own food and beverages. You will have use of the well-equipped galley (kitchen), including basic pantry supplies, tea & coffee, and deck BBQ. Please note it is customary that you provide the skippers meals during your stay.

Pricing schedule:

• Te Harinui has capacity for up to 8 people
• Joella has capacity for up to 6 people

Terms:

• Pricing for up to 8 people on Te Harinui. 6 people pricing is for 3 cabins, 7+ people is for 4 cabins. 
• Pricing for up to 6 people on Joella. 4 people pricing is for 2 cabins, 5+ people is for 3 cabins.
• Includes Skipper, fuel, bedding & linen, basic pantry stores, use of yacht’s inventory including stand up paddle boards, Kayak, snorkeling & fishing equipment, dinghy, and outboard motor.
• These tours are self-catered. Plan to bring along your own food and beverages.
• It is customary to cater for the skipper during your stay.
• Trips depart Nelson waterfront. 
• Meeting time 9 am on Day 1 and returning 5 pm on Day 6.
• Public holidays will incur an additional surcharge.
